Insurance & Billing

Insurance Participation & In-network Coverage: Tri-State Orthopaedics and Tri-State Physical Therapy participate with most major health insurance programs. We are in-network providers and accept both Highmark and UPMC Health Plan along with most other area insurances. If you have questions regarding participation with your insurance plan for in-network coverage, please call our Billing Department at 412-369-7200 or via email at billing@tristateortho.com. Our experienced staff will help you to understand your benefits and coverage related to your orthopaedic care.

Billing & Payments: We require payment for out-of-pocket or non-covered services at the time of your visit or service. Tri-State Orthopaedics will submit claims to your insurance carrier and will coordinate with you and your insurance company to determine any out-of-pocket expenses including deductibles, co-pays, coinsurances and non-covered services. We offer flexible payment plans for large expenses not covered by your insurance. Please contact our billing office for more information.

Payments can be made in our office, by mail, over the telephone or online. We accept cash, check, debit card, MasterCard, Visa, Discover Card or American Express. To make a secure payment, please click here to pay your bill online.
