During the designated Ortho Urgent Care hours, we now offer walk-in orthopaedic care for patients with orthopaedic and sports-related injuries including broken bones/fractures, ligament tears, strains/sprains or general aches and pains from sports or recent activities. Tri-State Ortho Urgent Care walk-in hours are staffed by our team of experienced Orthopaedic Physician Assistants with an on-call orthopaedic surgeon on standby. With in-office x-ray, bracing and injections, we can offer prompt diagnosis and expert treatment for most orthopaedic and musculoskeletal injuries. We can also coordinate your orthopaedic follow-up care, MRI testing and surgical consultations, as needed. We continue to accept all major insurances, including both Highmark & UPMC Health Plan, and will coordinate “in-network” care based on your insurance type. No appointment is needed for our Urgent Care hours and a visit to our Ortho Urgent Care center is faster and less expensive than a trip to the ER. Orthopaedic referrals from PCPs or other Urgent Care centers are also welcome.
Our ORTHO URGENT CARE is for orthopaedic-related injuries, not medical emergencies or illnesses. We will treat orthopaedic-related injuries for patients ages 10+. For chronic orthopaedic conditions, we recommend a scheduled appointment with one of our physicians during regular office hours. We participate with most major insurances, including both UPMC and Highmark, but please refer to your insurance card and plan for specialists co-pay and referral requirements. No appointment is needed during our walk-in ortho urgent care hours and patients are taken in the order they arrive on a first-come, first serve basis. Hours are limited.
